To borrow a phrase from a friend, ‘Lockout’ is basically Die Hard in space – it’s fun and flawed.

‘The Three Stooges’ is just as stupid and ridiculous as you would expect – that’s basically all you need to know.

‘The Cabin in the Woods’ is a clever and fascinating movie that elevates the horror genre to new heights.

There’s no loss of Matt Damon charm in this based-on-a-true-story film, but it doesn’t quite make up for the fact that this is a film about grieving and rebuilding, not a happy-go-lucky family adventure.

The gang is back 10 … ish years later for their 10 … ish-th high school reunion. And like many high school reunions, the movie is awkward, unpleasant and kind of sad.

Turn off your mind and put on your 3D glasses. Scholars of Greek mythology need not apply.
