This will be my fourth go-around at the San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s possibly my last … maybe. For a while. So I might as well make the best of it, right? Here are my most anticipated “things” this year.
‘Yeezus’ comes ten years after ‘College Dropout,’ and just a few weeks before the birth of his first child. It’s a different Kanye, and I’m a little worried about this one.
The revolutionary Giancarlo Esposito! The ‘Charmed’ Reunion! The Green Power Ranger! Actual Guardian Angels! Wonder women on steroids! Costumes! What more could you ask for?
Manu Bennett (‘Arrow’)! Brandon Routh (‘Superman Returns’)! Dean Cain (‘Lois & Clark’)! Giancarlo Esposito (‘Revolution’)! Need I say more? Clearly, I do.
Nathan Fillion who? The ‘Firefly’ panel reminded me we don’t need Nathan Fillion to liven the party. Gina Torres, Adam Baldwin, Jewel Staite and Summer Glau are awesome all on their own.
John Barrowman is freaking awesome. The universe isn’t big enough to hold his sheer mega-fucking-awesomeness or his banana hammock.
Philly Comic Con celebrates true stars of any comic con, cosplayers! Interested in photos of the cosplay competitions?
Go ahead and admit it — you watched ‘Power Rangers’ when you were a kid! Nothing to be embarrassed about. Those Rangers are now on DVD … and chances are that you’ll probably want to buy the set!
If and when I (ever) grow up? I want to be just like Cedric Givens of Washington, D.C.
