Of the new home video releases coming on September 11th, Snow White and the Huntsman is the biggest title of the bunch. I enjoyed the movie mainly for the performances of Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, but the casting of the always bored looking Kristin Stewart — who made everyone else act harder than they had to — brought the film down a few notches. It was fun seeing Charlize chew the scenery though. There are some great catalog titles hitting Blu-ray this week to get you in the Halloween spirit — Jeepers Creepers and Killer Klowns from Outer Space to name two of the better titles — and James Cameron’s visit to the Titanic wreckage, Ghosts of the Abyss, comes to Blu-ray for the first time in 3D.
