Rescue Me – Garrity has an orange dick

rescueme18

WARNING! If you dislike guy humor involving junk, sausage, peckers, cocks, balls, penises, trouser snakes, and/or schlongs, then this probably isn’t for you. The immature boys of 62 Truck engaged in what might be their finest juvenile romp in the five-year history of Rescue Me.

Yeah, I laughed out loud the whole damn time. My girl just eyed me with a look of half contempt, half disappointment. Just between you and me, I caught her suppressing a smile. She’d never admit to it, but I know what I saw. Enough of my rambling. It’s time to talk about Garrity’s cock.

There are other things to discuss about this excellent episode, so I’ll get the bathroom humor out of the way. Garrity had a problem. It had to do with his “thing.” Evidently it’s small, but that wasn’t the issue. The malady had to do with its color. Uh … it was … orange. Needless to say, the gang had plenty to say about it. Just a few observations:

  • Mike – “It’s a baby carrot.”
  • Franco – “What did you do, hump a bowl of yams?”
  • Bart – “It’s a hairy Cheez Doodle.”
  • Lou – “Looks like a bald George Hamilton.”
  • Damien – “If it was a movie, it would be “A Cockwork Orange.”

Leave it to Garrity to jerk-off using self-tanner as lube. He’s as dumb as they come.

In other news, Sheila unleashed one of the most seductive soliloquies I’ve ever seen on television. Holy shit, that was epic. Callie Thorne delivered the goods. When it was over, I needed a cold shower. No joke. Tommy is a better man than me if he turns her down.

Lastly, I would like to applaud the brilliance of Maura Tierney. Her three-minute sequence was some of the best acting I’ve seen all year. She deconstructed and skewered the entire firehouse in a viciously funny whirlwind cameo. My favorite line of hers: “Perfect. I’ll be a blood-sucked Mrs. Robinson.” — her biting response to Damien, who she equated to one of the kids from Twilight, being only 21. I can’t wait to see where the writers take her character. Does she have a name? If so, I missed it.

How about the trippy dream sequence? I love the song choice; I wish I knew who sung it. Sebastian, I’m talking to you. At any rate, after a couple of yawners, this installment represented a return to form for Rescue Me.

I watch this show but it really is obvious that women are not portrayed in a positive way at all. I’m not impressed by the Shelia-Tommy -Janet storyline. Enough already, when the writers don’t know what to do with the female characters they fall back to the same old storyline . .it’s always about Sex.

Already knew this week’s episode would be about Tommy would either having sex or want to have sex with Maura’s character. And Sheila’s little speech again was about sex, because they don’t do anything else. Each week her role is entails calling Tommy for “booty calls”, and all the while she knows he’s also having sex his Wife Janet. Really?? That’s all that females want???

And guys think the daytime Soaps are silly . . .
Yes, I know it’s only a show – There were some good episodes- I did enjoy the show with the Cancer kids driving the firetruck, Garrity dealing with his Brother and Mother, while fighting Cancer, and the 9-11 story.
Thanks for listening.

This is our “Sex & the City”. Don’t try Barishnikov-ing it!

Men and women who are attracted to each other like to have sex.

Tommy has an addictive personality, so he is drawn to women who share his proclivities. It may get tiresome, but that’s the character. Doing a 180 at this point would be worse than sticking to the script.

I enjoy the show because it’s one of the few adult series willing to push the envelope. You’re right, not all women want sex all the time. Janet and Sheila don’t really either. They just know sex is the only method they can utilize to control the tornado that is Tommy Gavin.

This is the only show I make it a point to watch on a weekly basis and last night’s episode with Garrity and his orangeness had me laughing so loud I scared my dog. It’s one of the funniest scenes I’ve seen in a long time. Oh, and frankly, I don’t care how women are portrayed on this show because it’s not the reason I watch it. Loved last night’s cameo by Maura Tierney as well.
Michael J. Fox’s recent cameo was riveting, as well and some scenes were laugh out loud funny.

Is it just me or is it Damien who keeps getting the killer lines every week?

The writers really seem to have a ball with this new character. Finally they can give the lines that would now sound cheesy coming from Sean to a new guy :-)

Thanks for the song, again. And yes, I agree about Damien. They’re are giving the kid some great lines. “A Cockwork Orange” is classic!

Hey, I’m a chick and I LOVE this show! The writing is genius, the jokes are on the money and so what if Tommy doesn’t know who he wants to have sex with. He’s a mixed up guy. An addict. Maybe the women are not portrayed in the best light, but you know what? Who cares. It is all from a male perspective and I bet you that life inside of a firehouse isn’t all pretty at times – so the darkness of the show must portray that. It can’t ge all gushy goo goo crap that us girls sometimes like: because the show is about MEN in a firehouse. I love it!

I couldn’t have said it better, Julie. Welcome to the dark side ;)
