After a couple of slow weeks, things pick up again this week down at the DVD emporium. A pair of newer shows, Greek and In Plain Sight, are joined by a host of classic crime-time offerings. Given the choice of The Commish, Matt Houston, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Walker Texas Ranger, Tenspeed and Brown Shoe, and Wiseguy, there’s something for everyone. And if none of that works for you, perhaps you’d be interested in something new from the Hannah Montana section. My pick of the week though, is Dalziel and Pascoe. Partly because I haven’t seen it, but also because it sounds so good.
Charlie and Lola: Volume 10 – I Can’t Stop Hiccuping
The Commish: Season 1
Dalziel and Pascoe: Season 1
Greek: Chapter 4
Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye
In Plain Sight: Season 2
Matt Houston: The 1st Season
Scarecrow and Mrs. King: The Complete 1st Season
Tenspeed and Brown Shoe: The Complete Series
Tremors: The Complete Series
Walker, Texas Ranger: The Complete 7th Season
Wanted: Dead or Alive: Season 2
Wiseguy: The Collector’s Edition
I loved Scarecrow and Mrs. King as a kid. I wonder if it still holds up these days, or if I would find it to be extremely stupid?

Good question, and I have no idea. I haven’t seen Scarecrow and Mrs. King in a long time, and those old shows can be hit or miss. I have been rewatching Riptide lately though, and it holds up just fine.
I’ve got a preview copy of Scarecrow and Mrs. King and I’ll be reviewing it soon … I can’t wait to see how it’s held up b/c I loved it when it first aired.
