Good grief, there are a ton of new sets hitting store shelves today. With the big premiere week just around the corner, lots of current shows are releasing their sets from last season, including Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Glee, The Good Wife, Grey’s, It’s Always Sunny, and Rules of Engagement. The classics aisle has some interesting offerings this week as well. You might want to revisit Designing Women, Fraggle Rock, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Private Practice, The Beave, or some HD Twilight Zone.
For pick of the week I’m torn between old and new. I am up for just about every adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes stories. My favorites are always those featuring Basil Rathbone, but you can’t go wrong with the BBC set starring Douglas Wilmer. On the other hand, I also know that almost nobody actually watched The League last season, and it did have the funniest scene on TV all year. So, it’s also worth a look.
