James Roday talks what’s in store for Psych at SDCC 2011 – Video

We've got video of our round-table interview with 'Psych's' James Roday for you! Here it is, along with some of the highlights.

Here are a few highlights from the interview:

  • There’s a Clue-based episode coming next season (which starts in the fall), and it’ll likely have something in the form of multiple possible endings.
  • Other themed episodes in the coming season: Superheroes, vampires and — down the road — zombies.
  • There will be a One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest-themed episode, and one Roday calls a “Psych-over” episode, similar to The Hangover movie.
  • A return of Despero, to finish that story as a trilogy.
  • William Shatner will be portraying Juliette’s father.
  • Roday directed the vampires and Clue episodes.
  • Sorry, no second Twin Peaks episode.

No second Twin Peaks episode!?! That’s the only time I’ve tuned in the last couple years…

Bob, Well, you’ve been missing out then. There have been a lot of other great Psych episodes over the last couple years.

No doubt. I always enjoy it when I catch it, but it has never been a must-see show for me.
