Bio: While CliqueClack is my first foray into the blogosphere, it’s just one stop along my long journey in writing. With my first book of short stories bounded via copy machine when I was still a lad, my evolution along the trajectory of writing has far exceeded that of my drawing; that first book was fronted by a rather pedestrian hand drawing of “Leatherhead”, of TMNT fame, and my ability hasn’t grown beyond rudimentary since those days. But the baby’s cute!

White Collar – Neal needs to do another auction just to save face

The “Draw me!” line was crazy corny, but in great ‘White Collar’ tradition, the scene in Neal’s apartment was done brilliantly. Neal, hiding in the observation room, sketched the Widow and snuck the picture out to Peter. I loved his inclusion of the engagement ring!

Men of a Certain Age – A Lawrence for all seasons

It was a brilliant idea to make Lawrence the face of Thoreau Chevrolet for the sake of the new commercials. Who knew that Matt Price was so versatile? He’s Santa, he’s a groundhog, he’s … a leprechaun!

White Collar – Ferris Bueller? Really?

It would have been worse had they ignored the blatant plagiarism, but I can’t believe that someone as awesome, smart, and creative as Mozzie would need to resort to stealing ideas from an old movie. I was really disappointed in Mozzie’s Ferris Bueller move.

Weeds – Three years later, and….

Even in Washington Heights it can’t be easy to do anything financially productive with a suitcase full of munitions. Bit of free advice for Nancy? Use them as they were originally intended to be used: start a war with a gang that has product, and then start slinging dope!

What’s this show called … Suits?

Each week I review a show that’s new to me. Good idea, or punishment (mine or yours)? You be the judge. But either way, if I had to watch it, the least you can do is read what I have to say….

Men of a Certain Age – Even better with age

Even the little things are done expertly! I’d guess that Carlos’ (Shelly Desai) role has expanded far beyond where it was originally intended, but how do you deny a guy who innocently makes the most awkward comments about his bosses sex life?

White Collar – Is the FBI that hard up for a gig?

I never made the connection when she appeared as the boss on ‘Criminal Minds’, but doesn’t Jayne Atkinson’s (Helen) managerial style remind you of an awful cross between Patty Hewes and Miranda Priestly?
