It was a rather odd choice for ‘NCIS’ to create two disposable roles of minor significance — EJ and CI-Ray — for multi-episode arcs without making either the killer. Wouldn’t one of them have made a better choice than going ‘Universal Soldier’?
You could probably argue that Denise isn’t so much on the periphery as she’s grieving, but how about Officer Pamela? Has she become so marginalized that she’s literally the friendly neighborhood cop known best for her flashlight and nightstick?
The episode was great save for one part: Gabe confronting Andy. Is it seriously possible that he’s the Scranton Strangler? Because that is one super unbalanced dude. Does a deranged character belong on a show like ‘The Office’?
It was fun having Reverend TimTom back, but isn’t he the most random of characters? Despite moving away just as soon as the Hecks met him, he’s been back twice to help guide Sue through life. Is it possible they’re just imagining him?
After almost two seasons the beast within Alicia Florrick finally awoke, as betrayal at the hands of her close friend — back when she wasn’t a friend — made her, for the first time with someone other than Peter, genuinely emote. And she was awesome!
Was I the only one wondering, before it was suggested that the killer had taped himself, who would have had their cell phone positioned perfectly so as to be able to capture the murder on tape? No one on the team thought of that?
Each week I review a show that’s new to me. Good idea, or punishment (mine or yours)? You be the judge. But either way, if I had to watch it, the least you can do is read what I have to say….
