I’m not sure what the nicest way to put this is, but Diane Neal did a lot better as ADA Casey Novak than she’s done as CGIS Special Agent Abigail Borin. Maybe she’s just better prosecuting criminals.
I was wondering in the beginning why the episode was designed to be so serious, so dramatic. In the end it wasn’t so much about the colonoscopies as it was three friends leaning on one another at tough points in their lives.
I can’t believe that the new twist with Dale is that he’s using his position as a friend of Rusty’s and Cappie’s to ingratiate himself with the Omega Chis. Can that be genuine?

Ever so quietly, ‘Californication’ returned for its fourth season last night. Why were they keeping it such a big secret? Could this show — and star David Duchovny — be any more fantastic?
It should have melted the universe: the creative forces behind ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ collided in the same scene. If only it was the other half of the dynamic duos … but I’ll take what I can get!
Here’s what I think: no tryout lunchroom follies are all in Sue’s mind. There is no such thing, and she and Carly were just dancing in the lunchroom like a couple of crazies … blows your mind, right?
