My Virgin Diary of the uneven first season of ‘The Shield’ is now complete with a viewing of the outstanding final episode. Mackey might have got his man (all of them, really), but seemingly has lost his family in the process.
I wonder if Larry was trying to send a message to the Hollywood community in writing himself into a Martin Scorsese film on the show — does Larry want into the movie business?
Even though I knew it was coming, Bobby’s announcement that he was leaving the firm was so very sweet. After a strong start it’s too bad things came to this, but Bobby’s departure was long overdue.
Not that it’s worth investing in new kitchen appliances or anything, but sponge cakes are a great thing to keep in the freezer. They thaw well, and who doesn’t like eating a moist sponge with your breakfast?
Henry VIII certainly loved his beheadings and nothing has illustrated that better on ‘The Tudors’ than these final episodes of season two.
It happened with more of a whimper than a bang, but the convict and Bobby finally called their marriage quits … or at least they took the first steps to the end. Hooray!
Too bad for the Assistant Chief, he quickly made a political enemy in Aceveda, and a mortal one in the form of Vic Mackey.
