‘Nikita’ wrapped up its first season of spy mysteries tonight, and while “Pandora” was entertaining to watch, the finale presented another question to me: where is this show going? I look at what clues – and concerns – for season two are left in this jam-packed last installment.
Overall, the first full week of sweeps was a bit slow. The big surprise came as NBC’s ‘The Voice’ managed to improve on what was an outstanding debut the week before. Over on cable, can you imagine ‘L&O CI’ on USA beating new ‘L&O LA’ on NBC?
I’ve been a Xander Berkeley fan since ’24,’ and I like him even more thanks to ‘Nikita,’ where his Percy is so deliciously evil that I hate him and love him simultaneously. Why don’t more people know who this guy is?!
NBC had the big news for the week, with the premiere of ‘The Voice’. Over on cable, week two of ‘Game of Thrones’ was right on pace with the premiere, while ‘Sanctuary’ gave ‘SGU’ fans a little more ammo.
Last night featured an episode so bad, it sucked like Jenna Jameson’s movies. It was so bad I don’t know if I can review it. OK. I will, but I’ll do it grudgingly.
Shane West has taken some flak for ‘Nikita.’ Some love him and some hate him as Michael. But I have to come to his defense.
