Tonight on CBS was like doing the Time Warp and throwing us back to the 1960s. George Takei (Mr. Sulu) had an appearance on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ while William Shatner was in his own sitcom, ‘$#*! my Dad Says’ in the next half hour. Beam me up, Scotty.
We saw Shamy and we saw cats. What we didn’t see was Raj’s Bollywood break-dancing routine. I would have paid good money, or perhaps a cat, to see that.
I wish I knew whom exactly to give all the credit to for the wonderful character of Sheldon. Whomever you are, thank you.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all to find out Sheldon has been buying clothing in multiples just in case he might someday have to dress a rolling virtual presence Sheldon. If he had a dog, the dog would probably have matching t-shirts, too.
I have my own amusing factoid (as Sheldon would say) — Did you know that since she finished ‘Blossom,’ Mayim Bialik has actually earned her PhD in neuroscience? It’s true! Thus and therefore, she fits in with the show’s cast better than the show’s cast does! Whoa!
I had never even seen a commercial for it, and I had only a vague idea of the premise: Pretty, ditzy blonde girl moves in next door to geeks. On paper, I think it sounds terrible.
My sights were set a bit higher thinking of the season wrapping up soon. I wanted epic. I wanted a guffaw fest! Although there were some cute bits, the half-hour fell short for me.
