Comedy Central

8:00p/7:00 Central

  • Can’t get enough of America’s Next Top Model? Never fear, it’s The CW to the rescue. Tonight they offer up more of “Cycle 11″ with behind the scenes footage you never saw! Ooh! Aah!
  • The gang reunites on Pushing Daisies for ABC as Olive brings in sleuths to uncover a murder mystery at the convent. But apparently more people will be tuning in to watch Mike nearly die and uncover more pieces of his past on NBC’s Knight Rider.
  • In fact, even more of you will be watching CBS’s “Divorce Hour” with Christine agreeing to go on a date with Jeffrey Tambor on The New Adventures of Old Christine, followed by Gary Unmarried resorting to hard tactics to try and get his pool table back from Allison.
  • Tony Rock is back with more man in the street humor on MyNetwork TV’s The Tony Rock Project. The Discovery Channel’s latest project proves that anything can be a television show now. You’ve seen those videos of extreme slow motion capture for a water balloon bursting or a bullet flying through objects. Well, now it’s a show and the premiere of Time Warp is two episodes deep.
  • Meanwhile, FOX brings you NLDS Game 5, where the Phillies try to wrap up their series against the Dodgers and head for the World Series.

9:00p/8:00 Central

  • Hey, politics! That Third Presidential Debate airs tonight, so in fact the entire schedule may shuffle around it (check your local listings). ABC, CBS and NBC will be all over this. BBC America is offering up a special three hour block of BBC World News America, so I guess they’ll be covering it too. How about non-bipartisan coverage?
  • But for those of you who don’t care, you can always tune into the season finale of Bravo’s Project Runway to see who wins. Or flip to Sci Fi and see if the Ghost Hunters find any evidence of spirits. Or The Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters, where they tackle a second round of ninja myths.
  • Showtime takes us Inside the NFL again, while Dog the Bounty Hunter has “Girl Trouble” again on a two-part episode over at A&E.
  • Meanwhile, apparently DirecTV is doing pretty good with their original airing of the new season of Friday Night Lights.

10:00p/9:00 Central

  • The seeking of truth continues on Sci Fi with the 2nd season finale of Destination Truth. As we say goodbye there, we say hello to The Discovery Channel’s Prototype This, examining tonight the feasibility of a mind-controlled car.
  • Also bowing tonight is the return of A&E’s high-stakes reality drama Parking Wars with two fresh installments. It’s parking tickets. I admit I’ve not watched it but how intense can it be? As intense as two dinosaurs going at it like you might see on The History Channel’s Jurassic Fight Club.
  • What is intense is FX’s Sons of Anarchy. Tonight, old bones force Clay to face a past he thought long buried. Is it wrong that I want the kids of MTV’s The Real World/Road Rules Challenge to face off against the boys of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV?
  • The contestants on Bravo’s Top Design would make great Ultimate FIghter contestants, but they’re busy designing the “room of the future.” From the future to the past, TV Land offers up explorations of “Manson, Monkees & Mister Ed” on TV Land Myths & Legends.
  • Comedy Central debuts their newest sketch comedy. But first, on South Park Wendy threatest to beat up Cartman. Then, it’s time for David Alan Grier’s Chocolate News. Sketch comedy from one of the funniest guys to come out of In Living Color. What? You’ve never heard of it? God, I’m old. It looks funny, though. Watch it anyway!
