Ghost of Halloween past: a round-up of posts

Hot damn, I love Halloween time. Deb hates it, but I freaking love it. And being that I live in New England, it’s like Halloween Central here. The fall leaves, the crisp air, and Salem a mere hour’s drive away. I have a yearly ritual of planning for a late night and early morning of TV and movie watching on Halloween night, which is why I love Rich’s regular Halloween programming posts to keep handy. It’s also part of why Deb hates Halloween, because I’m a big ball of useless junk when I finally wake up the next day. [Edit Deb: Hey! I made Halloween orange muffins in jack-lantern and ghost muffin pans… I’m not a total grinch!]

Let’s take a quick look back at some Halloween themed posts we’ve done in the past in order to honor the night, shall we?

• Last year’s Ghost Hunters live event had a bit of controversy about it, so I had a little talk with Grant Wilson about the infamous “coat pull incident.”
• Speaking of Ghost Hunters, I was able to ride along for one of the show’s investigations last year.
• Jane did a post on Halloween headlines she’d like to see, as related to this time-honored holiday.
• A Big Bang Theory-themed Halloween clip? Hope you like to read.
• Bob Degon did a post last year about some Halloween treats he’d love to give some of his favorite TV characters.
• Let’s not forget last year’s infamous Trick-or-treating in TV town post. Where would you like to stop?
• There are a lot of scary-as-hell characters on TV, but to dress as them wouldn’t be so scary.
• It’s amazing how so many notable characters on television resemble pieces of Halloween candy.
• More recently, Brett did a Webisode Clack on a new horror-themed web series called The Scare Game.
• Speaking of webisodes, did you check out the scary/funny one featuring a familiar face from Napoleon Dynamite?
• Looking for something more general? How about our Buffy category?
• Lastly, we should really consider getting more horror-themed television shows on the air. Come on, Harper’s Island was pretty good!
